The Pivot Table is made from solid American Cherry wood and vegetable tanned leather. It was created in 2016 as a prototype.
The design of this writing desk, explores how someone can engage in multiple ways with one piece of furniture depending on necessity, situation or personal preference. This led me to develop a writing desk which can function in two positions, both developed for a seated position.
The piece changes with the user to reflect the task at hand or the person’s state of mind at any given moment.
